Katya Grokhovsky (MFA 2011) selected for NYFA Mentoring Program for Immigrant Artists

Katya Grokhovsky, SAIC ALUM MFA Sculpture 2011, has been chosen to be a a part of NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) Mentoring Program for Immigrant Artists in Digital/Electronic Arts. Katya is an Australian raised, Ukrainian born NY based multidisciplinary artist who works with performance, video, photography, sculpture, installation, drawing, text and painting. Her recent other achievements include an upcoming one month residency at ChaNorth, in Pine Plains, NY, a two month residency at Santa Fe Art Institute, NM (April/May 2012), a two month residency in a former Taxi Stand in New York, Queens, awarded by chashama, space to create (February/March 2012) and a one month residency at _gaia studio in Jersey City (January 2012).
