ELBURN – Jane Meyer of Elburn, 57, died at sunrise on a beautiful Oct. 8, 2010, surrounded by her loving daughters, Emma and Clare; and her loving husband, Tom.
She was born Aug. 15,1953, in Staffordshire, England, to James and Catherine Myring.
Jane studied painting and printmaking at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago receiving her BFA degree in 1976. She has worked for several respected Chicago galleries and has been a private dealer for the past 20 years.
She also received her Art Teaching Certificate from Northern Illinois University in 1999.
A celebration of her life will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at 3N692 Highpoint Lane, Elburn, with prayer at 4 p.m. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at Saint Clement Catholic Church, 642 West Deming Place, Chicago. Internment will be private at the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs.
