Cynthia Everitt attended classes at SAIC between 1979 to 1983.  Everitt was a student of both the Painting and Fashion Departments.

She recently wrote us to share an update of her accomplishments and updates:

After graduating from SAIC I opened my own company and designed uniforms for the hospitality industry. I then moved to New York where I worked for Best Manufacturing working with KFC, Burger King, Long John Silver, 7 eleven, Circle K, and many more chain companies.

Then I moved more in the direction of seasonal private label apparel design working for Kellwood, Justin Allen, Mast Industries. Then finally branded apparel as director of product development and design for companies such as Ellesse USA, Boston Proper, Charles Keith and Mark Fore and Strike.

Now, as a mother, I have a small private label company Silverspoon Limited, [specializing in infant's and children's clothing, accessories, merchandise and bedding]. I also manufacture fine knitted goods for catalogs such as Sundance, Garnet Hill, CWD Kids and MacKenzie-Childs.
