Current Industry: Gallery Director and Portrait Painter

During the Winter of 2001, I applied to the MFA program at SAIC. As a way to keep my mind occupied while I waited for the response to my application, I curated a group art exhibition in my home.

The exhibit was a huge success. At least two hundred visitors attended and I sold two paintings. By the time I received my rejection letter from SAIC I was well on my way to running a busy art gallery. The currently gallery in located in downtown Evanston.

I have exhibited the art works of over 100 artists - many of them graduates of SAIC.

A few weeks after my rejection letter arrived from SAIC, I wrote a thank you note to the director of admissions!
