Art House is my studio mate and I've gotten to see (and overhear) many of her classes in action. What really strikes me is that besides teaching the basics of art-making, she weaves in so much advice about professional practices: How to submit work to galleries, what goes into installing and promoting an exhibit. Frequently, her semesters end with a full-fledged exhibit complete with printed invitations, refreshments. They're very well attended, too. It's a well-rounded approach to teaching art.

The Art House has been the perfect place for me to do some postbacc painting and printmaking work following my BFA in studio ('11). Convenient location and schedule, and Rebecca's teaching is challenging and inspiring. I've taken several leaps forward in my work.
Great community of artists being prolific and inspiring one another. Small classes, individual and group critique, exhibition opportunities. Wonderful grassroots art happenings!
