Travis LeRoy Southworth (MFA 2007) was selected to be an artist in residence through Galapagos Art Space & IAAB,
the International Exchange and Studio Program of the Canton of Basel,
Switzerland.He will create works that integrate photography with the study of invisible particles at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Through interaction with physicists he will investigate how visual representation shapes the concept of scientific objectivity.
