Ben Fain (MFA 2008) will be screening his new film, the sequel to Violent Obedience, at Julius Caesar on Sunday the 20th. The screening will be followed by a discussion between the artist and Dana Deguilio (MFA 2007). Fain will also be exhibiting in the University Galleries at Illinois State University. His show "no in future” features mixed-media installation including artifacts and photographs from recent performances in addition to drawings and paintings. The show opens January 22 from 5-7pm and runs through March 3, 2013. There will also be a screening of his work at the Illinois State University Theater on January 23rd from 6-8pm.
