Laura Kina (BFA 1994) and Shelly Jyoti present Indigo at the Chicago Cultural Center.  Employing fair trade artisans from women’s collectives in India and executing their works in indigo blue, the artists draw upon India’s history, narratives of immigration and transnational economic interchanges.
