In celebration of her 10th Wedding Anniversary, Edra Soto (MFA 2000) will be presenting an
installation of 10 wedding cakes at New Capital’s 24 HRS / 25 DAYS. The
wedding cakes will be displayed for visitors to consume. She has been confectioning idealistic representations of my wedding cake to
alleviate distressing memories that the original cake brought to her on her wedding day.
Soto will be serving cake, but "if I’m not there, please help yourself!!" For more information go to the official website.
