The School of the Art Institute of Chicago's World Famous Foundry celebrates the 20th anniversary of its Annual Lake Bluff Iron Pour on May 6-9, 2010.

Things are heating up in the foundry.  We are looking forward to seeing all the foundry rats coming to this event.

PLEASE NOTE Fe20 ALCOHOL POLICY: DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL (OR DRUGS) TO THIS EVENT.

FERROLICIOUS FOOD!

ALL MEALS DURING THE ENTIRE EVENT ARE INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE! Tapas Dinner with Spanish Wines, Chili Cook-off, Mediterranean Style Feast and kegs of cold beer, Crepe and Pancake Breakfast, Cupola Cake…don’t forget to include your dietary preferences on your registration form so we can plan accordingly.

DON’T MISS OUT!!! LAST MOLDING SESSION IS APR 16-18th!!!
ALUMNI MOLDING SESSIONS (Prior to the event).
All alumni are invited to bring a mold and have it poured. The SAIC World Famous Foundry has scheduled a series of opportunities for alumni to access the facilities at SAIC in order to make molds for this event.

$100 CASH PRIZE FOR DESIGN OF OFFICIAL Fe20 T-SHIRT
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APRIL 14th!
We received some great ideas for t-shirt designs by the first deadline. However, we are looking for a design that captures the essence of this event in a more specific way. Please work on your designs and resubmit or send in new ideas.

WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

Camping: A field has been designated at the farm for those who wish to camp on-site during the event. You are responsible for bringing your own tent and sleeping gear. Don’t forget a flashlight! Portable toilets will be available nearby. Three showers are available on site – bring your own toiletries and towels.

NEARBY HOTELS – RESERVE EARLY!  IT’S MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND AND A LOT OF SCHOOLS IN THE AREA ARE CELEBRATING GRADUATIONS.
