The mission of the Alumni Association is to encourage and foster alumni involvement in SAIC in ways that serve the interests and needs of alumni and the School.  We acknowledge and embrace alumni as vital stakeholders of the institution and value the contributions they make to the School, the world of art and design and to each other’s creative lives.      

The School, through its Alumni Affairs Office, will support the efforts of the SAIC Alumni Association to strive to:

• Enhance alumni pride in SAIC
  
  
• Link alumni and SAIC to connect continuing students, faculty and staff to the alumni mission and educate alumni as to student, faculty and school-wide accomplishments
  
  
• Facilitate ways in which alumni can give back to the community
  
  
• Promote communication and networking among alumni
  
  
• Link established alumni with new graduates
  
  
• Establish SAIC alumni as ambassadors of the arts and the School
